Advance sale and ticket validity period

Train tickets for one direction travel are valid for 1 day.

Tickets can be issued in advance (pre-sale) but no earlier than two months from the first day of validity.
One-way tickets are valid for 1 day.

Return tickets (for outbound and return trips), for distances up to 100 km, are valid for 1 day. For distances of 101 km and more, 15 days are valid, provided that for one-way travel (departure or return) the ticket is valid for 1 day. The validity period begins to run from the day indicated on the map, as the first day of the validity period, and in return from the day of the start of the return trip.

Special conditions regarding pre-sale and expiration date apply to tickets that Serbia Voz introduces according to the promotional offer.

Interruption of travel

With a one-way ticket, the trip is allowed to be interrupted once, and with a return ticket, one trip and one return are allowed, but in both cases with obligatory certification at the station where the trip is interrupted, immediately after departure. from the train.
If the ticket is not certified when the trip is interrupted, it is not valid for the continuation of the trip from the station where the trip was interrupted.
Interruption of the trip does not extend the validity of the ticket.
For tickets issued at global prices, travel interruptions are not allowed.

For tickets introduced by Srbija Voz according to the promotional offer, travel interruptions are not allowed.

Reimbursement of unused tickets

The request for refund of the fare for unused tickets is submitted to the passenger ticket offices of the railway stations in the following cases:
a) for completely unused tickets, no later than the first day of the ticket validity period, the request shall be submitted to the box office of departure or departure
stations;
b) in the case of a return ticket for unused travel in return no later than the last day of the ticket validity period, the request shall be submitted to the box office
return travel departure stations;
c) for partially unused tickets when the passenger cancels the further trip, the request is submitted to the ticket office at the station where the
the trip was interrupted immediately after getting off the train;
d) for the use of the 2nd class with a 1st class ticket, due to the fact that there were no free seats in the 1st class, the request is submitted to the ticket office in
the departure station immediately after getting off the train;
d) for the use of a train of a lower tariff rank with a ticket for a train of a higher tariff rank, the request shall be submitted to the ticket office at the reference station
immediately after getting off the train.
Before submitting a request for a refund of the fare, it is necessary:
– for the cases under b) and c) submit the ticket for certification to the competent employee of the departure station in return, ie the station in which the
travels;
– for cases under d) in addition to the ticket, the appropriate certificate issued by the conductor on the train shall be attached.
10% of the amount refunded to the passenger is deducted for railway costs. If the ticket is returned due to the fault of the railway or is returned on the same day at the same box office where it was purchased, the amount of 10% is not deducted.
If the passenger ticket office at the station is not open at the time of train arrival, the request is submitted no later than the next working day of the station.
In other cases, in order to return the train price, it is necessary to submit a written request to the competent department of the Revenue Control “Srbija Voz” a.d.
The refund of the fare is based on the original ticket, which contains a certificate that it has not been used. The passenger may enclose other evidence that he did not use the ticket.

For unused tickets purchased via a ticket machine or via the Internet (Serbia Voza website or via an application on mobile phones), the refund of the fare is made via the Revenue Control Center via e-mail kontrola.prihoda@srbvoz.rs.

Reimbursement of the amount of the train price for tickets purchased under the promotional offer is not allowed, except in the case of railway fault. In case of guilt of the railway, requests for return are submitted via e-mail putnik.info@srbvoz.rs.

Seat reservation

In the process of reserving seats, a reservation of seats, beds and beds may be required. Reservation of seats can be requested on the same day when the ticket is purchased or can be done later, in the case when the ticket is purchased in advance, but with the presentation of the ticket.

The passenger should take the reserved seat no later than 15 minutes after the departure of the train from the station from which the reservation was made, because otherwise the reservation is considered invalid.

The amount of the seat reservation fee is refunded only if the reservation was not used due to the fault of the railway.

At stations equipped with an electronic document issuing system, a passenger who cancels a trip may return the seat reservation. If the request is submitted one day before the trip, the paid price is refunded with a deduction of 10%, and if the request is submitted on the day of travel (no later than three hours before the train departure), the paid price is refunded with a deduction of 50%.

Transport of hand luggage

The passenger has the right to carry free of charge as hand luggage in passenger cars items that can be easily placed, above and below the seat he has taken. Items that take up more than the specified space are considered excessive hand luggage and the passenger pays the estimated amount for their transportation.

Transport of pets

If it is not in conflict with special regulations, it is allowed to enter in passenger cars:
small domesticated animals (enclosed in cages, baskets or other suitable packaging), if they can be accommodated as hand luggage, small dogs that do not bother passengers.
Larger dogs carried by the army, police and blind people can be transported in 2nd class passenger cars.
The dog can be brought into the compartment only with the consent of all passengers in the compartment. Regardless of size, dogs must have a basket (muzzle) on their muzzle, and larger dogs must be kept on a short leash.
For dogs transported in passenger cars, 50% of the regular fare of the second class of the passenger train is paid on behalf of the fare, and in sleeping cars or with beds, the passenger must have a cabin for exclusive use.
